Maker | 15 hrs/week, starts immediately

Natalie Joy is looking for a maker to join our team immediately. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who loves jewelry and would like to be a part of a growing small business. You will work with a small team in a cozy studio located in SE Portland. Your role as a Maker is to assist with daily jewelry production in our Portland studio. This role requires proficiency in all aspects of jewelry production including parts assembly, soldering and finishing. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys doing repetitive work with great attention to detail, and who enjoys working with his or her hands on a regular basis. This is a production position where repetitive fabrication is required.


-Prep work on a production scale (repetitive cutting, drilling, hammering, measuring, sawing, hammering, etc.)

-Jewelry assembly



-Metal forming

Desired Traits:

-Ability to do repetitive work with detail and care

-Experience with specialty equipment such as a torch, drill, press, flex shaft

-Experience with wire wrapping

-Ability to work independently

-Proficiency in basic jewelry techniques, specifically soldering

-Demonstrates initiative and ownership of work product and space

-Ability to manipulate hand tools including the use of a flex shaft, files, saws and pliers

You must be located in Portland, OR and have reliable transportation to work at our studio in SE Portland.
